DEATH OF BOSTON SOLDIER FROM PNEUMONIA
On November 7th, the death from pneumonia and influenza tool place at the Military Hospital, Devonport, of Pte. H. Brewell, R.A.M.C., aged 22 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brewell, of Liquorpond Street, Boston. He joined the colours in August 1917. Prior to that he was manager for Messrs. W. H. Dann, Horncastle Road, Boston. Deceased was given a military funeral, the remains being brought home and interred at Boston Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. There were present a firing party of twelve men; four bearers, a bugler and the coffin was covered Union Jack and deceased's hat and bandolier. The following were the mourners: 1st carriage: mother and father (Mr. and Mrs. Brewell), Mrs. Boothby (sister), and Mr. Borman (brother-in-law); 2nd carriage: Miss S, Brewell (sister, Miss I Brewell (sister), W. March and C. Fessey (friends). 3rd Carriage: Miss. N. Sutcliffe (cousin), Mrs. E. Edwards (friend). Mr. W. Darby, Wormgate, had charge of the funeral Arrangements.
