Inez May Draper, 73, of Fairmount, and formerly of Salem, died Wednesday, Oct 26, 2005 at her home. Born Sept. 29, 1932 in Kinmundy, she was the daugheter of Cecil and Beaulah Bonham Johnston who preceded her in death. A homemaker, she was of the Pentecostal faith. She married Samuel C. Draper on May 14, 1948 in Corinth, Miss. and he survives in Fairmount. Also surviving is her son, Samuel (Alice) Draper, Jr. of Fairmount, her daughter, Iris Jane (Larry Graham of Indianola, her brother, Harvey (Judy) Johnston of Broadlands, nine grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Mae, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct 30, 2005, in the chapel of Rankin Feuneral Home in Salem with Pastor Doug Myers officiating. Burial was in the Christian Home Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Carle Home Care Services, and will be accepted by the funeral home.
