Ella Collins
CHICAGO -– Services for Ella "Baby Ella" Collins of Chicago,formerly of Winona, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lizzie Sanders Memorial Chapel.
Ms. Collins, 78, died of heart failure Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Ill.
Ms. Collins, a cook, was a member of Hazel Green Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Tommie Jean Benjamin of Chicago; her son, the Rev. William Collins of Lansing, Ill.; her brother, John Collins of Chicago; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona.
The Rev. J.C. Morgan will officiate at the services.
Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Hazel Green Cemetery in Winona.
