George L. Ahlberg, 78 of Caledonia, died Dec. 15, 1992 in Rockford, following a brief illness. Born May 23, 1914 in Malta, the son of Carl and Jenny Anderson Ahlberg. Married Dorothy M. Anderson in Belvidere, Oct. 26, 1935. Lifelong resident Dekalb-Boone County area.
Retired from Ingersoll Milling Machine Co., after 40 years of service. He also farmed. Survivors; daughter, Carol (Gerald) Ball, Machesney Park; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Sadie Hall, Rochelle; special friend, Alice Johnson, Belvidere. Predeceased by parents; wife, Dorothy; grandson, Carl Ball; sisters Dorothy Jordan and Goldie Brown; five brothers, Carl, Roy, Ernest, Clifford and Harry
