Ivan Elmer Beasley, 66, 2407 Trudi, Springdale, formerly of Huntsville, died March 9 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born March 6, 1909, at Rosetta, he was the son of Sid and Ida Brown Beasley, a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Hawkins Beasley of the home; four sons, Eugene Beasley, Springdale, J.C. Beasley, Fayetteville, Quentin Beasley and Bradley Beasley of the home; three step-sons, Darrell Drain, Springdale, Jerry Drain, Gentry, and Steven Drain of the home; four step-daughters, Mrs. Carol Frances, Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Donna Young, Springdale, Mrs. Marsha Whorton, Russell, Kan., and Miss Brenda Drain of the home; three brothers, Derring Beasley, John Beasley and Charles Beasley, Huntsville; one sister, Mrs. Emmaline Martin, Huntsville; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 11, at 2 o'clock in Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel, Huntsville, with the Rev. Noel Easterling officiating. Burial was in Wharton Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.
Pallbearers were Clyde Burnett, Lloyd Burnett, Bill Hawkins, Darrell Drain, Bill Parsons and Sam Parsons.
