Funeral services for Boyd “Boobie” Bostic, Deltona, who passed away March 24, 2014 was born to Evelyn Bostic Wood and the late Otis Isom was held on Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at rescue Church of God. Elder Quintin Faison officiated the services.

He attended school at Springfield Garden High School in Queens, N.Y. He atteneded the First church of God in Christ at an early age in Queens, N.Y. He was taught auto mechanics at a very young age, which led him to become a truck driver. After many years of driving he finally pursued his own company in 2001 “B Kids Transportation.” Boyd deeply loved his profession which he stated “he felt freed when he was on the road.” He moved to Atlanta where he met Tammy and from that point on they were inseperable. They both shared a deep love for the truck driving business as well as drag racing. After moving to Florida together they united as one in holy matrimony.

He survived by his wife, Tammy J. Bostic; sons, Tremaine Alexander, Hakeem Grant, Robert Dixon, Dashawn Bostic, Ladarius Dixon; daughters, Tambria Dixon, Bridgette Bostic, Alysha Bostic, Brittany Bostic, Brea Bostic; brothers, Earl Brown-Sconiers, Steven (Kim) Bostic, Gary Bostic; sisters, Stephanie Bostic and Demetrice McCray.

Interment was held in Shiloh Cemetery.

Trinity Memorial Chapel, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
