"Mr. and Mrs. John F. Palm, 42 Crestmont avenue, Eighteenth ward, received a telegram from the Panama Canal Zone announcing the death of William B. Ferry, husband of Evelyn Babb Ferry, the latter formerly of Reading, He was in his 32d year. He died in a hospital after a kidney operation.
Mr. Ferry was exalted ruler of the Elks of Balboa last year and was to be their delegate this year to the national convention at Atlantic City. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Balboa Council, Knights of Columbus.
He was a former resident of Allentown where his mother, Frances, still lives. He leaves several brothers and sisters living in Allentown. Mr. and Mrs. Palm, who received the telegram announcing Mr. Ferry's death, are foster parents of Mrs. Ferry.
Mr. Ferry was employed by the United States government as a customs inspector in the Panama Canal Zone."

Cemetery sources say he was buried in Panama - at the Corozal Cemetery, Grave #4, marker #2326. Contributor, Michael Cannon, however, found a gravestone for him at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Allentown, PA.
Interred in Immaculate Conception Cemetery October 22 1930 per obituary in Allentown Morning Call.
