Leila M. (Robinson) Arcouette, 91, of Russell Stage Road, a retired teacher in New York and Athol, died on Saturday in a Springfield nursing home.
Born in Massena Springs, N.Y., she lived in Blandford for 57 years. She attended the Pottsdam, N.Y., Normal School.
She was a member of the Church of Atonement in Westfield, the American Association of Retired Persons and the National Retired Teachers Association.
She was the widow of Philip C. Arcouette.
She leaves three sons, Ronald of Portland, Ore., Robert of Agawam and Arthur E. of Feeding Hills; two daughters, Phyllis Glynn of Oregon City, Ore., and Jacquelyn Smith of Beaver Creek, Ore.; a sister, Dorothy Killeen of Blandford; 17 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday morning at Healy-Pease Funeral Home of Westfield, with burial in Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be this evening.
