Henry Brooks, 87, of Ukiah passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at his home. Henry was born November 10, 1922 in Lake County. He was an accountant for Alex Thomas and Co. Henry was proud of his family, coaching his sons in baseball, vacationing with family and working to build St. Mary's school. He was dedicated, hardworking, always honest, and devoted to his family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church Parish.
Henry served his country in the United States Navy, crossing the Atlantic several times, providing off shore naval support on D-day.
Henry is survived by his daughters Pat Brooks Ford and Joan Brooks Bell of Ukiah, sons Tom Brooks of Santa Barbara, Ca. and David Brooks of Elk Grove, Ca, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Jean Brooks in 2003.
