VALLEY -- Mrs. Lurline S. Aaron, 82, of Valley died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Revs. Frank Lyons and Joe Young officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery.
Mrs. Aaron is survived by her husband, Andrew W. Aaron, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Aaron of Valley; one sister, Sara Tom Pitts of Dadeville; three grandchildren, Beth Pippin, Jamie Pippin and Mary Pepper; five great-grandchldren; Wayne Brown, Megan Brown, Rusty Borwn, Hunter McAllister and Erin Pippin.
Born Sept. 13, 1925 in Tallapoosa County, Mrs. Aaron was the daughter of the late Saide Bell Baker Spear and Percy H. Spear. She was a retired employee of WestPoint Pepperell's Shawmut Mill. Mrs. Aaron was a member of Fairfax Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her son, James Aaron, and her grandson, DuWayne Aaron.
The family will receive friends, Tueaday, Dec. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
