Father of Louisa Cox Stevinson. Inscription "Grandpap" no name or dates on stone.
Isham was one of the first Merced pioneers, heading across the country in ox driven
covered wagons in 1850, arriving at Hill's Ferry in March. He prospering well,
with mining and building Cox Ferry, becoming known as one of the staunch
builders of the community.
