Bankston, mother Sallie, born Feb. 1875 in Texas, and sisters: Adie M., born March 1890 [died 1892]; Nettie [Nell] P., born March 1892; and Eva [Doris Evelyn], born Oct. 1896. Note: Mother Sallie Singleton Bankston has appeared in no other found records other than this and notations in children's death certificates and obituaries.

On his WW 1 draft registration, Ollie Thomas Bankston stated that he had been born in Thorndale, Texas, and was then working on a farm in Milam County, Texas. He was described as tall and slender with blue eyes and light hair.

The 1920 census recorded Ollie T. Bankston, 26, living in Amarillo, Potter, Texas, with sister Nell Dukett [Duckett], 27, brother-in-law John E. Dukett, 29, sister Doris E. Bankston, 23, and niece Dorthy J. Dukett, 4.

The 1930 census recorded O. T. Bankston, 35 living in Springfield, Greene, Missouri, with wife Carrie Bankston, 39,
and Loges [?] stepchildren: Minnie, 19; Marion, 17; and Lawrence, 15. The children were all born in Kansas. Carrie was a hotel clerk, O. T. was a ticket agent for a bus station.
