Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Cannon Cheatham will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville, Louisiana, with Reverend Jack West officiating. Interment will be in Cannon Cemetery in Ruby, Louisiana under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Pineville.
Mrs. Cheatham, age 93, of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Pineville, Louisiana.
She was a native of Ruby, Louisiana. She was an active member of the Pineville Senior Citizen Center. She loved to play pool.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Shepherd “Dump” Cannon; her mother, Macy Goff Cannon; two brothers, G.W. Cannon and H.D. Cannon; two twin sisters, Helen Carter and Lula Schlotterbeck.
She is survived by one son, W.L. “Buddy” Cheatham of Ruby, Louisiana; one daughter, Margie Dauzat of Pineville; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville on Friday, January 9, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
