Pioneer Oklahoma Farmer Is Dead
John Rodesney, pioneer Oklahoma county and Mishak community farmer died Saturday night at the home of his son, Orie Rodesney, 416 W. 14th street, of heart disease, age 60.
Survivors: wife; two sons, Orie (vice-president of the Mee-Oaks Co.) and Ralph; one daughter, Lillian; three brothers, Anton, Brenham, Texas; Frank, 411 SW 24th street; and C.A., 617 W. Frisco Avenue.
Funeral: Monday, 10 AM, Mishak community Catholic Church; burial at the community cemetery .
The deceased was born in Czecho-Slovakia and immigrated to America with his parents 50 years ago. He settled in west Texas and he then moved to Oklahoma County 33 years ago, and has lived 11 miles southeast of Oklahoma City since.
