John D. Riehl, 62, of 510 Georgetown Rd., Ronks, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 5, 2014 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was the husband of Anna Ruth Blank Riehl. They were married in 1977. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Aquilla B. and Susan Petersheim Riehl.

John was a member at New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship. An avid Phillies fan, and he enjoyed his family cabin in Potter Co. He also was a long-time member of the Gideons. John was the owner/operator of John Riehl Painting for 33 years.

Also surviving are: his children, .... He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Dawn Riehl, and a brother, Melvin Riehl.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Spring Garden Church, Rt. 340 and Snake Lane, Spring Garden with viewing from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. There will also be a viewing there on Wednesday from 3 - 8 p.m. Interment: the adjoining cemetery.
