Della Marie (Thomas) Coburn
In her 96th year, Della M. Coburn of Harvey, NB passed away on February 2, 2024 at Wauklehegan Manor. She was born on October 13, 1928 at Brockway, NB, a daughter of the late Delbert and Annie (Kingston) Thomas.

Della was an active member of the Knox Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed bowling, jigsaw puzzles, painting and puzzle books. She began her working career as a school teacher and later was employed with Canada Post.

She is survived by her daughters, Rayma Bernard (Denzil) and Cheryl Main (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Roger Nason (Patti), Robert Nason (Larisa), Danny Nason (Jaime), Patrick Bernard (Julie), Peter Bernard (Laura), Stacey Williamson (Derek) and Billy Kitchen (Amber); great grandchildren, Tori, Violet, Tyler, Aaron, Colby, Ryder, Justin (Lisa), Ryan (Tiffany), Rachel (Jared), Cassidy, Natalie (Parker), Jorja, Zachary, Ethan, Eva, Faith, Gracie, Owen and Karah; great great grandchildren, Auston, Charlotte, Blake, Avery, Sawyer, Lauren Della and Ian; a sister-in-law Carolyn Coburn (late Gordon); several nieces and nephews.

Della was predeceased by her parents; her husband Cecil Coburn, a daughter Anna Nason (late Dean); a sister Dorothy Oliver (late Earl); a granddaughter-in-law, Tabatha Kitchen, a sister-in-law, Thelma Henry (late George) and a brother-in-law, Milford Coburn (late Myrtle).

Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 2 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey, NB with Rev. Anne Boudreau officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Cherry Mountain Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations in memory of Della to the PCD Foundation, Knox Presbyterian Church or Wauklehegan Manor.
