Carr Services Set on Tuesday
Funeral services for Lou Ada Carr, 73, 606 West Sixth, who died on Sunday in a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Savage Funeral Home chapel with Rev. H. P. "Pete" Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Stafford cemetery.
Mrs. Carr was born in Ada on March 31, 1896, and had lived in western Oklahoma 27 years. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist church.
Survivors included her husband, William; one son, Horace, Elk City; four daughters, Clois Perryman Higgins, Elk City, Cleo Nicewarner, Weatherford OK, Viva Ruth Warner, Okeene OK, Neva Branch, Buffalo OK; three brothers, Ed Fullingim, Ada OK, Ernest and Henry, both of Antlers OK; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Savage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
