Patrick Kinsella, After a Very Brief Illness Passes Peacefully Way.
Patrick Kinsella, died Thursday afternoon after a brief illness. Death resulted from pneumonia, contracted by exposure.
"Patsy" as he was familiarly called by his friends and acquaintances had been a resident of Truckee for the past twenty-five years or more. He was a quiet man and had little to say to anyone, always attending to his own business in a straight forward manner. He bore an excellent reputation for integrity in all things. He was a very intiate friend of J.G. Booth and since the death of Mr. Booth last fall he has hardly been his former self and was deeply affected.
Owing to his being a man of so few words, though an old resident, little is known of his life outside of what was observed of him daily in his business.
For a good many years he has conducted the saloon adjacent to the Booth Drug Store and has always conducted and orderly, respectable house.
He was a native of Ireland and it is understood that he has a mother and sister in the old country and a brother somewhere in this country. The funeral took place this afternoon from the Catholic Church.
