Delphia M. Mauzy
Delphia Mae Mauzy, 77, of Dorcas, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
She was born April 30, 1925, in Dorcas. She is the daughter of Vernie S. Thorne Vance of Dorcas and the late Thomas Lee Vance.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Heather Mauzy, and two brothers, Edgar Vance and Willis Vance.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Brake Church of the Brethren in Dorcas. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the church with Pastor Craig Howard and Pastor Calvin Redman officiating. Interment will follow at Brake Cemetery in Dorcas. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Schaeffer Funeral Home.
