ARCHDALE-Cletus Sumner Bennett, 95, passed March 1, 2008 in the High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral at Mount Gilead United Methodist Church; Rev. Jim Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Born August 27, 1912 in Randolph County a daughter of Matthew and Lillie Pierce Sumner. Preceded in death by her husband, Thurman William Bennett in l953. Surviving, daughter; Mrs. Hazel Mooney and husband Bill of High Point and l son; Thurman R. Bennett and wife Ann of Archdale; sister; Mrs. Imogene Webster Robbins of Archdale; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. -Cumby
