Graveside funeral services for Vera Marie Perry, 84, former Wagoner resident, are at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, in the Ray Cemetery, Sequoyah State Park with the Reverend Carl Murphy officiating.

Vera was born June 28, 1926 in Hulbert to her parents, Oswald and Lola Bell (Gott) Moss.

She grew up in the Hulbert area and graduated high school there.

Vera worked for many years at Southwestern Bell as a secretary and clerk. She was also a member of the SW Bell Pioneers.

Vera loved to square dance, craft ceramics, sew and crochet, making afghans for family members.

She was a member of a ladies' bowling league, loved to travel and especially garden, growing some of the hottest peppers for her family.

After her marriage to Bill Perry, they made their home in Arizona where they made many friends, joining the Mustang Car Club.

For health reasons, they returned to the Tulsa area where Vera passed away on Saturday, March 5.
