|Death: ||Jan. 9, 2013|
Scot Lee Jackson, age 46, of Fayetteville, Ark., left to join the Lord and his mother, Sharon, on Jan. 9, 2013.
Scot was a 1984 graduate of Rogers High School in Rogers, Ark. He spent his career selling cars at local dealerships in the Northwest Arkansas area.
Scot had a huge enthusiasm for life, his family and friends. He thrived on having fun, but mostly, Scot enjoyed being outdoors, which included hunting and fishing with his closest friends. He would always entertain a round of golf if you gave him a stroke or two and often just enjoyed the company of friends from the cart. He was a great fan of football and baseball, often watching the Steelers or Braves with his best friends and pals.
As many know, Scot was a wonderfully funny person and, while his quick wit and sense of humor was sometimes brash, he always had the best intentions. His quirky smile and loving stare always put a smile on your face. Scot would always make sure to put others before himself, to give more than he could and he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his father, Carl of Pea Ridge; sisters, Diana Steffenson, Teresa McChristian and husband, Johnny; brothers, Dirk Jackson of Rogers and Mark Jackson of Arizona; special uncle, Craig McIntyre of South Dakota; nephews, Kyle Patrick and Bret Jackson; nieces, Kaci Patrick, Uriel Jackson, Halee Jackson and Ravyn Steffenson; great-niece, Marley Boyd; and many caring cousins, friends and loved ones. He also leaves behind his furry friend and "Baby Girl," Shatzi.
Scot's family would like to personally thank Dr. Hey and his team at the Dialysis Center of Northwest Arkansas for their contributions during his fight with kidney failure and his nurse, Sarah, and the team at WRMC who cared for him in the end.
Scot, you have touched so many and will never be forgotten. May your spirit live on in all of us and encourage us to give more and cherish the moments we have together.
