Benjamin Dwight Ball, 32 of Lake, departed this life Sun., June 21, 2015, at his residence.

Born Aug. 6, 1982, in Logan, W.Va., he was a son of Dwight and Laura Ball of Lake.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Hobert and Lou Ball and Gay and Agnes Stollings; one brother, Cory Isaac Ball, and his father and mother-in-law, Robert Keyser and Sarah Keyser Tomblin.

Benji was a foreman at Black Oak Mining. He enjoyed traveling, 4-wheeling and spending time with his family. Benji loved his dogs.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Samantha; one son, Mason of Lake; two step-children, Brittany (Brandon) Patton of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Brandon Lambert of Harts, W.Va.; two step-grandchildren, Brody and Bristol Patton; two brothers, Jeremy (Amy) Ball and Dustin Ball, both of Lake; one special nephew, Andrew Isaac Ball; Jamie (Megan) Hall, who was like a brother to him and their son, James; he is also survived by Nana Gail Conley and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thurs., June 25, at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Vanhook officiating. Burial will follow at the Ball Family Cemetery at Lake.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
