HI,
Was going through the St. James Bapt. and death records which I have had for several years.
I had put children of Carl and Louise (Ploeger) now spelled Plager into fag. then found you had put in Carl and Louise. They are not buried at St. James, dont know where they are. but the stone you have photoed, I belive is a stone for all thier children they lost. since it too says Bausch Angels.
As in the death records these listed:
1.) Bertha Elise Bausch who d. Aug. 8, 1874 at the age of 6 Mos & 15 days. pts/ Carl and Louise nee Ploeger Bausch.
2.) Johann Hermann Bausch. b. Mar. 3, 1875 bapt. April 15, 1875 spons: Herman Ploeger and Johann Conrad Ploeger. d. Sept. 2, 1875. pts same as above.
3.) Carl August Bausch. d. Aug. 22, 1876 age 9 d. he was born Aug. 15, 1876 and bapt. Auh. 17, 76. spons. were parents. same parents as above.
4.) Emilias Heinrich Bausch d. July 29, 1879 buried July 31, 79. age 4 mo. and 4 d. pts same as above.
5.) August Friedrich Bausch. b. June 24, 1880 d. July 5, 1880. his age: 20 d. parents same.
6.) Friedrich Wilhelm Bausch. d. Sept. 5, 1898 age 21 y. 15 d. parents same. He was buried Sept. 8, 1898.
Records in church are missing from 1880-89. but there are names posted at the cemetery.
other children of theirs were:
1.) George Adolph Carl Bausch. b. May 4, 1882 bapt. June 18, 82. same pts.
2.) Conrad Franz Bausch b. Oct. 15, 1883 bapt. Dec. 20, 83
3.) Heinrich b. July 28, 1890 bapt. Sept. 14, 1890. same pts.
4.) Helen Marie b. Feb. 15, 1892 bapt. May 1, 1892. same pts.
5.) Louise Caroline Bausch. b.July 21, 1896 bapt. Aug. 30, 96. same pts.
Then there is a Pauline Rosine Bausch. b. July 9, 1891 bapt. May 1, 1892. mother listed as Anna Bausch. and spons. were: Carl and Louise Bausch.
But nowhere did I find the parents in the death records.
So think the stone was erected for all their children. All 6 of them.
I have requested photos of the children, cannot find. therefore that also makes me think they are all buried in the lot that has the parents names on with no dates.
