St. Matthews - Ethel Inabinet Fogle, 97, of St. Matthews, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, and entered into the arms of her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Dr. Karl Coke officiating. The family will receive friends in The T. Randolph Fogle Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. Ethel was born in St. Matthews to the late Furman C. Inabinet and Maud Lillian Inabinet. She loved Jesus, her church, her family- especially the babies- and her flowers. She and Randolph traveled extensively after retirement. They visited Israel and every one of the fifty states. Ethel was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, T. Randolph Fogle; five brothers and sisters; grandson, George Nathan Kennerly Jr.; and a loving friend and companion, Charles McCall. Survivors include brother, Gary Symmes Inabinet; daughter, Sibyl Kennerly Kinney; sons, Thomas R. Fogle Jr. and Chris Edmond Fogle; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express sincere and special thanks to Dr. Minter and Kim Willis, NP, of South Carolina Oncology Associates, and to Mariane Hayes, RN, of Amedysis Hospice, and caregiver, Sandra Jenkins.
