Anton Beranek, 76, retired farmer, residing a mile west of Tisch Mills, died Sunday morning at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the homestead and at 10 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic church in Tisch Mills. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Beranek was born in Two Creeks, this county, in 1867 and in 1895, married Miss Josephine Roidt. They located on the present farm.
Survivors are the widow; son Joseph, on the home farm; and daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Stangel of Tisch Mills; brother Wencel of Carlton, Kewaunee County, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Beranek was a member of the Holy Name Society. The rosary will be recited at the Beranek home tonight at 8:30.
