Owen Bernard Corner, 55, died Wednesday morning, May 17, 1943, at 5:20 at his home at Coopers.
He was born January 9, 1888. He was the son of Delia Corner and the late Charlie Corner.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flora Corner, and seven children, Earl, Gilford, Bernard, Lee, Lacy, Robert and Mrs. Richard Messick of Maryland
Active pallbearers will be: G.H. Niswander, N.D. Perdue, Wiley Hill, J.L. Williamson, Edd Bailey, H. C. Heldreth, Frank Moore, T.A. Niswander and G.A. Stanger. Flower girls will be: Nellie Williamson, Honey Hill, Hazel and Helen Williamson.
The time of the funeral is uncertain pending the arrival of two sons, Lacy and Gilford, who are in the army in California but is expected to be held Sunday afternoon at the home with Rev. Mr. Steele of the Bramwell Holiness Church in charge.
Interment will be in the Isaac Bell Cemetery, Shinbrier.
