Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wenona with the Rev. Ray Barclay officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Wenona. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona and 10 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of services.
Mrs. Carlson was born in El Paso on June 19, 1935, to John and Anna (Timmerman) Carls. She married Ernest Carlson on Dec. 14, 1974.
Mrs. Carlson worked at Minonk State Bank for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest of Minonk; one stepdaughter, Kelly (Bernie) Uszcienski of Bloomington; one stepson, Keith (Andrea) Carlson of Farmington Hills, Mich.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Dewain (Barbara) and Glen (Burnette) Carls, both of Minonk; and two sisters, Eileen (Wilbur) Charlier of Minonk and Aldine (Kenneth) Caldwell of Dunlap.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one niece.
