WENONA: Mrs. Olive Hylin, 73, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator, IL. She had been a patient since June 11.
She was brought to the Thierry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hylin was born October 21, 1894, near Magnolia, a daughter of Oscar and Alida Carlson Flesburg. She was married to Carl Hylin October 2, 1918, in Wenona. Prior to moving into Wenona about 20 years ago they farmed east of here.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Marvin; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Jenkins; a brother, Clifford Flesburg; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and its women's organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, two sisters, and two brothers.
