Mrs. Agatha Carby, 80, a housewife of Route 1, Clarkson, Ky., died June 11, 1984 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1903 in Grayson County, the daughter of Mack Ward and Angie Carby Ward. She was the wife of Dewey Carby. / Survivors other than her husband include three sons, Gene Carby of Clarkson, Randol Carby of Rt. 2, Munfordsville, Glennie Carby of Rt. 2, Shelbyville; three daughters Anita Nicholson of Louisville, Sybol Kiper of Denver Colorado, Berry Blessett of Elizabethtown; two brothers Totsie Ward and Russell Ward both of Clarkson; on half-brother, Denny Ward of Upton; 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. / Funeral services were held June 14, 1984 at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Carman Cann officiating and interment in Old Lone Oak cemetery.
