Charlotte S. Bucher, July 16, 1920 - Dec. 12, 2002, Charlotte S. BUCHER, 82, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at her residence at 7889 W. Kosciusko County Road 1500 North, Silver Lake. Born in Nappanee to Lem and Ada May HAMILTON, she married Frank W. BUCHER Aug. 9, 1946, in Wabash. He died Aug. 31, 2001. Mrs. Bucher was a homemaker and worked at Controls Co., North Manchester, for 25 years. She was a member of Silver Creek Church of God, Silver Lake. Survivors include two daughters, Jane CHANEY, Rochester, and Patsy OWENS and husband William, Silver Lake; one son, Steven [BUCHER] and wife Cindy, Silver Lake; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillie HERENDEEN, Silver Lake. Preceding in death with her husband were her parents, five brothers and three sisters. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Silver Creek Church of God with Rev. Thomas CRAIG officiating. Burial will be at Silver Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
