Son of Henderson W. and Maude Brown. He is buried next to his father.
He had been ill several of months but only in Wabash County Hospital one day when he passed away.
All his sisters and one brother were still living.

Orval BROWN, 71, R.R. 1, Silver Lake, died at 7:10 p.m. Monday in Wabash county hospital. He had been a patient one day and ill several months. Born Nov. 1, 1900, in Kosciusko county, he was the son of Henderson and Maude BROWN BROWN. He was a lifetime resident of the Akron and Silver Lake communities. Surviving are one brother, Foster BROWN, North Manchester; four sisters, Mrs. Edna GEARHART, Silver Lake; Mrs. Clifford (Ruth) ZOBROZKY, South Bend; Mrs. Roy (Mable) EDER, Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Gaylord (Cleo) BAKER, North Manchester, and nieces and nephews. Final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Sheetz funeral home in Akron. The Rev. Claude FAWNS will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
