Carl Chig Davis age 52 of the Sigma Community in Keokee, VA was born in Norton, VA on Wednesday, August 8, 1962 and passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home. He had been a long haul truck driver/ and construction worker and had lived in the Sigma Community for the past 28 years.He was preceded in death by his father Carl Ennis Davis and one brother Larry Davis.He is survived by three sons Justin Davis of Jonesville, VA, Carl Lee Davis, Jr. of Keokee, VA and Anthony Davis of LMU in Harrogate, TN and his mother Maude Smith and step-father Joe Smith of Keokee, VA. He is also survived by two grandchildren Kantor Davis and Wyatt Davis, two brothers Gary Wayne Davis of Exeter, VA, Steve Tootie Davis of Keokee, VA, one sister Patsy Miller of Keokee, VA and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with David Ely officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Sunday until the time of the service.Burial will follow at the Holmes Cemetery in Keokee.
