January 19, 1925 - July 12, 2013
Mrs. Abel, 88, of Meridian, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Meridian.
Elizabeth loved her family, her Lord and Savior Jesus and her country. Her life showed this by her dedication to her children, to her letting the Holy Spirit work through her for God's good plans and purposes in her life and by her service to her country as a Korean War Veteran in the Army and as an Army wife for 44 years.
Her family and so many others were blessed by her cheerful, loving spirit.
She will be missed until we are all together again in Christ's Resurrection.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Douglas Abel; daughter, Linda Jo Abel; granddaughters: Elisabeth "Lisa" Abel and Jenna "LiLi" Abel, all of Meridian; sister-in-law, Jody Culpepper; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Bertha Olsen and her husband, Louis George Abel.
