Georgia Pruett Alexander, 74, of Piggott, Ark., formerly of Kennett, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Piggott Community Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1931, in Lake Charles, La., daughter of the late Jim and Iva Hicks Eanox. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett and a member of the Red Hat Society of Blytheville, Ark.. On April 10, 1998, she married Thomas Alexander, who survives.

Survivors also include three sons, Robert O. Pruett, James Allen Pruett and Byron Kent Pruett, all of Kennett; one daughter, Cindy Pruett Henderson, of Kennett; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Ann Pruett and one sister, Thelma Fuller.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating. Pallbearers were William Kent Pruett, Tyler Jamison, Blake Jamison, Dustin Skelton, Phillip Snider and Chris Taylor.
