George was the son of Jesse Rose Allison of County Antrim, Northern Ireland and Phoebe Ann Johnston Allison of Oxford, Grenville, Canada West, Canada. Phoebe and Jesse were married on . Phoebe and Jesse had four children. They were: Margret Rachel Allison was born on 09 April 1876; George Richey Barber Allison was born on 16 October 1879; Hudson Joshua Creighton Allison was born on 09 December 1881; and William Percival "Percy" Allison was born on 21 March 1887. All the children were born in Chesterville, Stormont Township, Dundas & Glengary County, Ontario, Canada.
George married Lillian Adelaide Workman in Ontario, Canada. Date (). Lillian and George had four children. They were: Dorothy Allison was born in 1913 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Eric Franklin Allison was born on 04 April 1908 in Montreal, Communauté-Urbaine- de-Montréal, Quebec, Canada; Jesse Graham Allison was born on 18 May 1903 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio; and Marjorie Allison was born on 18 August 1915 in Westmount, Quebec, Canada.

Morrisburg - It was with deep regret that Morrisburg learned this week of the death of George B. Allison, brother of W. Percy Allison, of Morrisburg, at his home at 619 Murray Hill, Westmount, Quebec, in his 53rd year. The deceased was president of the Packard Motor Company Limited, as well as of Just Motors Limited, and was interested in the automotive industry since 1913. Before that he had been associated with J. W McConnell, the late G. F Johnston and the late Hudson Allison. At the time of his death, Mr. Allison was also director of the Canadian fur auction sales, Limited. Born in Chesterville, Ontario. In 1889, Mr. Allison went to Montreal about 26 years ago and entered finance. He soon became connected with church and charitable organizations and was chairman of the Westmount United Church and a governor of the United Theological College. The deceased was greatly devoted to the work of the Young Men's Christian Association being a past president of the Westmount branch of the Y.M.C.A. Mr. Allison was a member of the canadian club, Marlborough Golf Club, and others, as well as the Montreal Board of Trade, and the Montreal Real Estate Board. He is survived by his wife, formerly Lillian Workman of Raleigh, North Carolina; by two sons, Jesse Graham and Eric Franklin Allison and by two daughters, the Misses Dorothy Enid and Marjorie Ruth Allison. One brother, William P. Allison, of Morrisburg and a sister, Mrs. Charles Graham, of Chesterville, also survive. The remains were placed in the chapel of a Montreal funeral parlour, the funeral service took place Monday afternoon at five o'clock in Westmount Park United Church. The pastor, Rev. J. L. Smithy officiating. Tuesday morning, the remains were entrained for Chesterville where a service was held in the Chesterville United Church at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Mr. Smith and Rev. Mr. Newman officiating. Interment was made in the family plot in the Chesterville Cemetery.
