Born Aug. 9, 1917, in Nashville, Ill., to Bill and Sophie (Meier) Meyer, she married Steve Aderholt. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ron Aderholtz; one sister, Thelma Close; and one brother, Herbert Pape.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (Karen) Ray of Washington and Armon (Priscilla) Aderholtz of Pekin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Perryman of Morton.
Elvira was a member of the Christian Assembly Church at 521 NE Monroe in Peoria.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
