She was born July 30, 1944, in Gridley, Ill., to Edward and Dorothy (Schlipf) Witzig. She married Ed Fritz on Oct. 8, 1967, in Gridley.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years; two sons, Douglas (Jennifer) Fritz and Phillip (Jessica) Fritz, both of Morton; four daughters, Denise (Daniel) Weerts of Remington, Ind., Michelle Phillips of Eureka, and Lynette (Nathan) Schick and Katie (Michael) Rasmussen, both of Morton; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Joyce (Bernie) Ferneau of Gridley; and two brothers, William (Conni) Witzig of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert (Terri) Witzig of Gridley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sally graduated from Gridley High School in 1962. She then worked for Country Companies for six years and later as a bookkeeper for Fritz and Gudeman, Inc. from 1968 to 1995.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Washington.
Sally will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
