Frances Louise Kirby Roberts was the daughter of William Richard Gaddes and Elizabeth Cornelia "Lizzie" Kirby Roberts. The Kirby in Frances Louise Kirby's name was a second middle name and not a married name, probably to honor her mother's maiden name of Kirby. She had the following siblings; Emily Ellen Roberts 1898-1965, William Jehu Roberts 1900-1901, and Willie Cornelius "Willie" Roberts 1903-1990. Her brother William lived only one year, dying before she was even born, her two sisters Emily Ellen and Willie lived to be adults. Emily married Carl L Adelquist, not sure who Willie married if she even married.

Frances Louise Kirby Roberts married Charles Edgar Ard the son of Annie G Ard, not sure what his father's name was. Charles, his wife Frances and their daughter Elizabeth Ann Ard age 1-8/12 months lived with Annie Ard in the 1930 Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama census.

In the 1940 Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama census she is living with her husband Charles, her daughter Elizabeth Ann age 11 and her son Charles Bed? Ard age 9.
I am wondering if the BED really shouldn't read ED since her husband Charles is actually Charles Edgar?

Not sure if and when Frances moved to Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama but according to her death index she died there in 1981 but was brought back to her hometown of Collinsville, Alabama to be buried in the Collinsville Cemetery.
