Our father was born on March 21, 1934, to Ben and Zid Adams. He was the third child of six. At an early age our dad would not listen, so his dad gave him the name Block for Block Head. That name stuck with him his entire life. His father died when Dad was very your; therefore he became a hard worker. Dad went to work painting and sandblasting when he was seventeen. He made Wilma Hughes (our Mom) his wife on March 20 1953. She was the love of his life. He told her in the second grade he was going to grow up and marry her. They got busy on making a family. First, along came Beth, then Jana and finally Lisa. Dad thought the world of his girls and was really proud of us. Our dad was a hard working, kind man, full of life and lots of laughter. Dad never met a stranger. He taught us many things, but the most important was to know the Lord would never put more on us than we could bear. Dad also taught us that our future was not determined by what we did in our past. Dad always told everyone he has the most beautiful wife, wonderful kids, and fantastic grandkids and great-grandkids in the whole world. Dad was a blessed man with a life full of family. One of his favorite past times was drinking coffee at the Gas & Go telling everyone and anyone who would listen a story about one of his kids, grandkids, or great grandkids.

Dad went home to be with Jesus his Lord on March 18, 2007. Dad had lots of family waiting on him went home. We know they were all smiling, and glad to see him again.

Dad was preceded in death by both parents and two grandsons, Jason Dwight Ramage and Darel Isam Parks. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Adams of the home, daughters Beth Adams and Jana Parks and husband Larry Parks of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, daughter Lisa Adams of McCloud, OK, grandchildren Marsha Thompson, Jimmie Dawn Parker, Sarah Shoup, Keisha McDonald, Krystal Coey, Adam Ramage, Joshua Trammell, and great-greandkids, Nathan Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Trenton Thompson, Bailey Jackson, Kylee Shoup, Logan Montgomery, Alisa Trammell, Joshua Parks, Ayden Ramage, David Shoup, Ryder Trammell, Melvin McDonald, and Kristopher Coey.
