Martha Ann Payne, a resident of Port Allen, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at her home. She was 67 and a native of Chamberlin.
Hall's Mortuary, Port Allen, in charge of arrangements.
Visiting at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, Chamberlin, religious service, conducted by the Rev. James Watson.
Interment in Orange Grove Cemetery.
Survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Christine Payne, Loretta Payne, Osa M. and Damar Hopkins and Clara P. and Landry Dorsey; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Freddie and Martha Payne, Eugene Payne Jr., Gregory and Jacqueline Payne and Columbus Payne; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Clara Benton, Edna M. Jack, Virginia and Clifton Lewis and Gloria and Leroy Domino; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alphonse and Doris Hall and Felix and Barbara Hall; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Payne Sr.; her parents, Dalton Sr. and Clara Jack; three brothers, two sisters, aunts and uncles.
