Joseph Glynn Jr., a retired security guard from the Louisiana Arts and Science Center, he died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Chamberlin.
Visiting at New St. John Baptist Church, religious service, conducted by the Rev. Marshal Myles. Interment in Orange Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cleopatra Glynn; daughter, Belinda Ann Glynn; four sons, Bobby Glynn, Rodney Glynn, Joseph Glynn III and Eric Lanier Glynn; two sisters, Mamie Lewis and Elnora Moore Pollard; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Glynn Sr.; mother, Lillie E. Glynn; and brother, Emeritt Glynn Sr.
Hall's Mortuary, Port Allen, is in charge of arrangements.
