Double with Charlie M Bowman. Buried between both husbands. Angie was first married to Charlie Bowman with whom she had a son, Charles. Charlie passed away in 1965, the same year she married James Neely.
Funeral services for Angie Addline Neely, age 92, were held in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Roy Dobbs officiating.
Mrs Neely died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Southwestern Memorial Hospital in Weatherford, Ok. She was born on March 13, 1913 in Mangum, the daughter of John and Pauline (Olivia) Lanford. Growing up in Mangum, she attended school at Reed and Wildcat.
After moving to Oklahoma City for a short time, she met James Neely. They were married on Oct. 22, 1965 in Mangum and shortly thereafter moved to Clinton.
She worked for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. as an administrative assistant for 20 years. Mrs Neely was a member of the First Baptist Church and of
the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
Preceding her in death, along with her parents, were 11 brothers and a sister.
Burial concluded at a family cemetery south of Mangum.
Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; a son, Charles Bowman; granddaughters, Amber Cox and Toni Patterson; two great grandchildren, & a host of nieces & great nieces, nephews & great nephews.
Angie was a true sweetheart, and is dearly missed.
