Amos Davis
This morning, at nine o'clock, in East* Brandywine township, Amos Davis died in his ninetieth year. He was the youngest and last surviving member of a family of thirteen brothers and sisters, and had spent nearly the whole of his life in East Brandywine.
Mr. Davis was a farmer by occupation, and a member of Caln Meeting of Friends. He married Mary Worrall, sister of Enoch M. Worrall, of West Chester, and she survives him, after a lapse of more than half a century since their wedding day. Three children are living, William M. Davis. , of Dean Street, and Elizabeth E. and Mary J., at home. Mrs. Belle Davis, widow of Frank Davis, South Church street, is a daughter in law.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence on First-day, 11th-mo. 26th. Leave the house at 12 o'clock. Interment at Caln Friends' Burying Ground. Carriages will meet train at Coatesville at 9:49.

At his home, in West Brandywine township, the funeral of Amos Davis, of that place occurred yesterday, and interment was made at Caln Friends' Meeting. The bearers were neighbors, among them being Lewis Granger and George Forbes, who had known Mr. Davis a long time. Twenty-one persons were present from West Chester, among them, Enoch M. Worrall and family, Isaac L. Garrett and family, William M. Davis. and family (Dean Street), Mary Forsythe, Mrs. Joel R. Davis and Family, William Williams and wife, Lydia Ann Way, Mrs. Belle Davis and daughters Lillian and Iva.
