Leland James Altland, infant son of James J. Altland , Sr. and Kimberly J. (Helsel) Altland , was born at 4:40 a.m. and was called to be an angel in heaven at 10:07 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, from York Hospital.
In addition to his parents, Leland is survived by a brother, James J. Altland, Jr., and a sister, Renee Hoyme; his paternal grandmother, Linda Slick of Spring Grove; maternal grandparents, Robert and Karen Helsel of Dover; maternal grandmother, Vivian Hoyme of Rockville, Md.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John J. Slick, and his maternal grandmother, Jacquita Helsel.
