Hope Aasen 1921-2002
Hope Deloris Aasen, 80, of Clearbrook, died May 4, 2002 at her residence in Clearbrook.
She was born November 2, 1921 at Clearwater County, the daughter of Arthur and Ella (Rundquist) Lund. She attended school in Clearbrook. She married James Aasen of July 5, 1941 at Clearbrook. She raised a large family, which was the center of her life. James died May 3, 1997. Her happy smile and positive attitude will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bagley.
Survivors include her sons, James (Linda) Aasen of Clarkston, Washington, Gerald Aasen of Page, North Dakota, David (Kathy) Aasen of Willits, California; daughters, Gloria (Ben) Vorderbruggen of Clearbrook, Carolynn (Steven) Cornell of Gully, Minnesota, Suzanne (Michael) Molden of Gonvick, Patricia (Kelly) Cornell of Ogilvie, Minnesota; sister, Ione Moen of Bagley, Gwen Rouland of Crookston; brother, Royal (Joyce) Lund of Cameron, Wisconsin, Romayne (Jeanette) Lund of Bagley, and Uno (RaeMarie) Lund of Great Falls, Montana; 35 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Daniel Aasen; sisters, Lola King and Gloria Lund; brothers, Robert and Arthur Lund.
Memorial services are Friday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bagley. Interment by cremation will be at the Oak Park Cemetery in Clearbrook. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
