QUANAH Charles Lee Anders, 71, of Quanah died Saturday, June 9, 2012.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Walter Haynie of Nocona
officiating and the Rev. Eric Brooks, pastor, assisting. Burial will follow in Quanah Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Quanah.

Mr. Anders was born May 15, 1941, in Winnsboro to Garland and Alice Irene Medders Anders. He married Melvena Estill on Dec. 31, 1964, in Dallas.

Survivors include his wife, Vena Anders of Quanah; a daughter, Vickie Anders of Quanah; two sons, Wesley Anders of Choteau, Mont., and Danny Anders of Holiday; three sisters, Edith Sunday of Bastrop, Inez Tarrant of Sulphur Springs and Dollie Sunday of Quanah; a brother, David Anders of Burkburnett; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
