Harvey Brady; was farmer in Scott Township
Harvey Howard Brady, 79, of Sylvania Road, Scott Township, Slippery Rock RD 3, died in his sleep at his home early on March 4, 1995. His death was unexpected. Born March 28, 1915, in Starr, Pa., he was a son of George W. and Maude Setley Brady. Surviving is his wife, Ida Peebles Brady. They were married March 23, 1943. Mr. Brady was a farmer who held membership in the Lawrence County Agriculture Extension Service and the count's Wool Growers Association. He was also a retired maintenance worker from Slippery Rock University. A member of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church, he served as elder and past trustee. He also belonged to Bay City Masonic Lodge in Michigan and New Castle Consistory. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the 108th Field Artillery. Five brothers are deceased, Lawrence, Chalmer, William, Earl and Harry, his twin. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home of Slippery Rock where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Davis, pastor of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in North Plain Grove Cemetery.
