| Birth: | 1850 | | Death: | Jul. 21, 1918 |  Mrs. Eliza Kirk Means, wife of Mr. George M. Means, of Pittsburgh, former well known and highly respected citizens of Clarion died Sunday, July 21, 1918, aged about 68 years. Mrs. Means was the daughter of Prof. Kirk, who formerly lived and taught school at Curllsville and Clarion. She was married in 1891 to Mr. Means, who now survives her with one son, Benj. Means, of Butler, their only other child, a daughter, having died some years ago. The deceased was a splendid Christian lady greatly loved by all who knew her. Her body was brought to the old home at Curllsville and given interment there. Source: 8/1/1918 Clarion Democrat.
