Mrs. J.B. Bridges:
Mrs. J.B. bridges was born Dec. 31, 1949 in McNary Co., Tenn., and moved from there during the civil war to Tamaroa, Il. and was converted to christ and was united to the Presbyterian Church.
From there she moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Hester, and lived with them until Feb. 1874; at that time she was married to T.B. Bridges. Their union was blessed with one child, a son, who died in infancy. Her married life was mostly in the country. We thank our many friends for their acts of kindness during this great affliction and bereavement. Her death was a triumphant one. She was not afraid to die and insisted on everyone to meet her in the better world. She had no uneasiness. She is not dead, but sleeping. She is only gone before. Rev. C.M. Ritchie conducted the services at 11 o'clock a.m. at the Cmapbell Graveyard Sunday.
